I have a wall mounted bath tap where the cover is coming away from the tiles - I am trying to remove it to see if there is any water damage underneath and to then fix back properly. However I cannot see any fixings whatsoever. I've looked at the bottom of the cover and under the tap handle.

The right side, by the tap handle moved but the left by the spout is fixed firm. I have tried to cautiously turn the tap spout but did not get any movement.

I think that the tap is a damixa G type as the 'matching' shower has that marked on the cover.

Anyone come across one of these before?
Thanks

Hi,

If you haven't already solved this problem, I suspect very strongly, that the spout will unscrew.
I have had a quick Google, but can't find any installation instructions for that model.
But similar models seem to have a grub screw underneath the spout and/or the spout unscrews.

Good luck :)

Hi,
Thanks, problem is still very much unsolved. I too expected to see some small screw underneath the spout but there is nothing.

Once I have fixed the unrelated issue with the stopcock I will have to try a less cautious twist of the spout. ;)
