Hellooooo!
I've just had the pleasure of removing our old Solid fuel Rayburn & while we haven't yet decided what to put in the space left in the chimney breast (Tele or Fish tank for me) I have a little problem the chimney above the Rayburn was blanked off with an asbestos like sheet (It’s not asbestos) with an access panel for sweeping and now obviously a hole were the flue was, now
I know I need to keep the chimney ventilated somehow but i'm not sure how to do it. If I just stuck a grille over the flue hole I'm going to have the problem of soot/dust etc falling through it, so I'd appreciate any suggestions
Regards
