Hello

The chimney breast and hearth have been removed on the ground floor. The chimney breast and hearth remain on the first floor, and the chimney breast goes up into the attic and onto the chimney outside.

The chimney pots have been capped and have ventilation points.

However there is no ventilation in the chimney breast on the first floor or attic. The chimney breast on the first floor contains four flues , two for the ground floor fireplaces (which have been removed including chimney breasts) and two for the first floor fireplaces (which have been removed leaving only the chimney breast)

Am I correct in saying we need four seperate ventilation points installed in the first floor chimney breast, one for each flue

It is sensible to ventilate each flue whether part of it has been removed or not.
