Hi all I removed an upstairs rad of which there are 3 and this is the middle one so number 2. Now rads 1 and 3 are cold why would this be? I thought the pipes to and from the rad branched off from and rejoined a main flow pipe. Is this a correct assumption?

Depends on the pipework layout.
They may have gone straight in and out through the rad have you tried putting it back on to see what happens?
