Removing a radiator from microbore system

Hi,

I want to remove a radiator from the central heating system, on a temp basis - to be replaced after walls are plastered and new kitchen fitted. Am I correct in thinking I can simply cut the feed and return and loop the feed back to the return?

if it's only temp cap them or just shut the rad valves.
