Hi al, I have searched, but nothing coming up to match my circumstances. The Title says it all really... But do I hack off render, or PB to get the thing out. I think a re render is in the medium future; and I have a plasterer family member to fix the reveal in the short term. Inside and out are tightly butted up.

So, what's the method? Ta.

PS, it's a timber framed house, block n render outside.

Plasterers can usually render too. I'd go for re-rendering the outside reveals most likely, it's less disruptive.

Usually the old door would be cut in place with a reciprocating saw and removed, and the replacement be a bit smaller so it goes in more easily.

The main question is whether you want to keep the door and sell/use it elsewhere, or if you want to skip it
