Removing blind bracket

Hi

I have a blind installed in a window and can't see a way to remove it (to paint) The brackets look to be firmly attached, and the metal blind cover looks to be held by the brackets by force alone.

Is this a standard fitting, and is it something I could remove without damaging bracket or blind, and be able to refit by hand (without any special tools)

I *think* you should poke a flat screwdriver under the smaller tab and it might rotate out like this and release...
