Hi all,

I have just bought a house that has a very old ~ faulty central heating/emersion system that I want to replace with a combi asap, as a first time buyer and a semi novice is there anyone that can give me some advice on the following

1. Is it acceptable in the plumbing world for me to fit all rads and pipes and run them to the desired location of the boiler and have a plumber/corgi registered to fit test and commision the boiler?

2. Does anyone know of any good tricks for hiding 15mm pipes when you have a concrete floor

3. Apart from getting a corgi reg person to cap the gas supply to the boiler before i drain and remove is there anything else i need to consider

Many thanks for your help in advance!

Dan

Make sure all heating electrics are disconnected and safely isolated.

Cap off cold mains to tanks in loft.

Hire a kango and dig the floors up if you must run the pipes this way.

Thank you for that, is it practical to chase walls at the bottom and skirt over? are you aware of that ever happening?
