Removing glue on platerboard

Hi,

How do I remove glue on plasterboard?

I had to remove some cable trunking which was glued to a wall made of a painted plasterboard.

In some places a bit of paper came of, in other places there is glue left on the wall.

How can I recover that please?

I call it glue but it is a kind of sticky foam. Must have been a self adhesive trunking.
