I have a Bosch sms63m22gb dishwasher. The heatpump has fried so I am trying to get access to it by removing the side panel.

I don't know how to safely remove the control board to get access inside. There's hardly any room

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi, it should be quite easy, if I remember correctly I just pull it up when I change it.

However, you can find several youtube videos just searching bosch diswasher heat pump replacement. Look at the ones where you have just to remove the side panels, there are some that are stupidly complicated, while it is a very simple operation.

Thanks guys, none of them have that really large water container thing and a pipe sticking out. That is the main obstacle. I just managed to unscrew it from the inside and now have access to the control board like all these videos. After making my floor wet of course

Hi, I have a NEFF S515T80D2G. Inside, with the right hand panel off, it looks almost exactly the same as the Bosch sms63m22gb in the image above. And like, mfizz, all the videos I can find don't have that large tank. Has anybody come across the correct approach for dealing with this? mfizz, did unscrewing from the inside work for you in the end? Were you able to complete the job using the method? Thanks.

Just thought I'd feedback here for anyone with a NEFF S515T80D2G. The "going in from the side" approach does work for this model too. To move the tank out of the way, there's a couple of extra steps. You need to remove an electrical connector - a small white block which just pulls away from the dark red block it's attached too - I used a small flathead screwdriver to help prise them apart. Next, you need to unscrew the circular grey inlet (?) from the inside of the machine. This is very firm, and will require pliers of some sort. Once free, you can move the tank out of the way. There's no need to disconnect the black hose at the bottom - that's probably more trouble than it's worth. After this, the approach is the same as the descriptions and videos for NEFF and Bosch machines without the tank.
