Hello all -
I've searched the forum for this topic but the only thing I can find relates to a block of apartments... however apologies if it's a duplicate.
I have a bungalow (floor plan below) with a single dormer bedroom accessed through the kitchen. All the main bedrooms are on the ground floor, off the corridor as shown. The primary escape route from those bedrooms is via the corridor and front door. Exit from the Dormer is currently via the kitchen, although there are ground floor windows available in an emergency. Can anyone tell me please - if removing the kitchen door to the corridor (arrowed), would represent a fire hazard, contravene any regulations, and/or require notification to my Insurers ?
Many thanks in advance for your help
Chris.
