Hello

I'm currently using a wide chisel and hammer to remove old tiles from my kitchen wall. I've come to a section (previously a doorway) where the tiles are stuck on a stud wall which is built with plaster boards.

My problem is that when I try and pry off the tiles the chisle goes through the plaster board making holes. :(

Is there any way to avoid this by using a different method or a certain type of tool?

Many, many thanks in advance.
Yours very frustrated!!

I use a old wallpaper scraper and file the edge down like a sharp chisel and tap it gently with a hammer seem to work for me.

You may find it easier to remove the whole of the tiled plasterboard section and fit new plasterboards. Plasterboard is dead cheap too.

i have sid both of the previous suggestions, so i must be right and wrong
