Removing shower.

Good afternoon everyone, I'm in need of some help removing this old shower. The grub screw on under side has be loosened and so have the nuts around the inlet pipes however it will not come away. Any tips greatly appreciated.

Take the grub screw right out, should be the only thing that's holding it if the supplies are loose.

Done that now, it's the water pipes that are still attached, could the be push fit connection?
 
Shouldn't be, they normally should be removeable to allow it to be repaired/serviced etc. Do you know the make of the shower?

Have you fully loosed the inner chrome rings, the one with the flats on them, inside the chrome outer covers?
 
Usually compression going into the shower. Have you undone them fully?
 
I eventually got it off the wall using force unfortunately the hot supply copper pipe has been slightly damaged. Is this easily repaired?
 
Yes replacing the shower. Cold supply pipe is undamaged.
