Silicone sealant removal - can pick off the 'ends' and pull, most comes off but still have loads of bitty bits/strips left behind.

Short of spending ages picking, scratching and rubbing at it, is there a product which will sort of melt off the remnants? It's in a place which is not going to have a fresh lot put on.

What is this love affair workmen/women have with this stuff - squirt it anywhere and everywhere to cover a multitude of sins most likely!

Hi sagalout1954,
Use a cloth soaked in White sprit or some industrial hand wipes like Big Wipes, works a treat,
Best wishes,
