My son has a G/F 1 bed flat in a 1930’s conversion. He has a stud wall that separates the front door from the kitchen creating a small entrance lobby. On one side is a door leading to a bathroom extension. This makes the kitchen quite small and he would like to remove all or part of the stud wall. Ignoring any structural issues, is there any building regs to say you can’t have a bathroom door leading directly into the kitchen?
TIA.

Potential fire safety issue as this is a flat and it separates the high risk kitchen from the hall.
