Hello,

I'd like to remove two wall lights we have. Both turn on and off with the main ceiling light switch.

However there are no connections for them in the ceiling rose for the main light (just a single black, red and earth). Same for the switch, no additional cabling coming from there.

What's the best way to trace them back to their source and any idea where the source might be?

Thanks,

Gavin

Junction box under the floorboards.
Lift the carpet and have a look, it should be obvious which floorboards were removed for cable runs and a junction box.

check at the wall lights, the feeds and switch wires might be in there.. stranger things have happened...

Thanks - will check in the lights later.

Fingers crossed they are not in the floor boards, there's a nice oak floor on top of them!
