A garden pressure sprayer is a good way of applying dilute wallpaper stripper to large rooms. [Less water running down your arm and is more targetted and less likely to soak the floor]. If you are removing vinyl wallpapers you will need to peel off the top layer first.

Good tips for removing wallpaper. We just used the sponge and scrapper technique to remove some old wallpaper in our home. It seems to be a pretty good technique, but when it comes down to it, there is no easy way to remove wallpaper, especially when it's been there for several years. It's going to be a lot of work no matter what but worth it in the end.
