I am in the process of removing an old Jacuzzi shower and the last job left is to get rid of the wiring for it (the new shower doesn't require electricity).

I have disconnected the cable from the wall socket, but now have no idea how to get the piece of cable itself out of the wall! I've tried pulling it from the shower end and it came out so far, but then stopped. Is there some easy way to do this? I don't like the idea of just sticking the cable back through the hole into the wall cavity and leaving it there...

Sorry if this seems a stupid question!

Just disconnect both ends and cut them off flush (so they cant be reconected)
