Renault Clio heating system

I have a L reg Renault Clio with a leak in the metal pipe running along the front of the block which connects to two rubber hoses at the end.
I am trying to remove the metal pipe but can not see how it is held where it joins the main block.
Any body help/tell me how to remove? haynes manual only shows rubber hoses!
