Renault Clio Privilage (2001) Immobiliser / Key Fob Problem?

I would try changing the battery in the keyfob first, but do it well out of range of the car, the fob should not need to be reprogramed after a battery change, make sure you get the polarity of the battery right, or you may have problems.
