Renault fault code

A friends Renault Clio 182 (2.0L F4R) has a fault code stored, code is 0308 Bi mode air inlet solenoid valve.

Can anyone tell me what and where this is on this engine?? Any Renault techs on here? I worked as a Renault tech for 12 months and did not hear of this part

I'd start by looking for an IAC (Idle Air Control) valve, if fitted will be on the air inlet manifold.
It might just need cleaned out.

Hi Spark

I think the idle is controlled by the throttle body and that has been cleaned out, I think the TB is the favourite suspect for the rough/poor idle and this fault code.
