i have a house build 1940 the render goes all the way to ground level ie below damp proof layer. was looking for advice do i remove render to above the damp proof course how high above? and add a bell cast i think its called. what about damaged bricks if damp and frost has blown brick face. thanks

Are there any signs of damp inside the house?
