hi all

We're doing some rendering tomorrow - first time but quietly confident

I have a QQ, I'm planning on using 4:1 for scratch coat and 5:1 for top coat

Do I use a waterpoofer and plasticiser? Or just one?

Reason I ask is I have lots of plasticiser left from some cement I had to knock up, saves me buying waterproofer if I don't need it.

Thanks

What are you rendering - & why are you rendering it?
4:1 and 5:1 of what?
What is a QQ?

Sorry, rendering a breeze block seating area in the garden

QQ is quick question

Was planning on using 4:1 plastering sand to cement for scratch and then 5;1 for top coat
