Hi All,

we’ve gutted our bathroom ready to refit and upon clearing the room we’ve found the old toilet waste connection. We’ve opened it by removing the concrete off the top and I’ve tested it and it’s clear and all fine - so now I’m at the point of fitting a new toilet. Is it as simple as fitting a new 90 plastic fitting like this. Do I need to seal it or are the ribbed seals ok?

also, the ribbed seals are airtight to the old brown clay pipe in the floor.
