Hi

Just wanted some advice, we have a playhouse that is about 6 years old and has several coats of different colour paint, have only used fence paint on it, we now want to use a completely different colour ie going from brown to a light green, what is the best way to do this as i fear the green won't really show up painting straight onto the brown.

I have read that a pressure washer may remove the old paint, is this just an ordinary pressure washer you would use for the car etc or a specialist one.

Any advice would be great.
Thanks :)

hi short, i'm only a diyer, and i'm not sure about pressure washers.... but i suspect you need heavy duty sanding help. i.e. belt sander or random orbital sand with coarse papers. You need to get back to the timber really. Another option is to replace facing timbers completely, but leaving the frame intact?

Can you put any photos up?
