I'm about to repaint my sash windows now that the weather has cleared up. They've been painted before, but the paint is flaking so I need to rub it back and start again.
My wife keeps saying, 'primer, undercoat, topcoat'. However, I'm not sure she's right (although I wouldn't say that in her earshot). What's the right sequence of paint layers to repaint these windows, once the prep has been done?
