Hello all,

I came across a big problem recently and I do think I can find a solution here

I was supplying paint for the ceilings of a local shopping mall project and everything went smoothly. Nice transaction good bucks and happy faces :D

Yesterday I got a call from the project manager who invited me to the mall to show the repairs they carried out and how the colour looked darker where they did touch-ups. (They had to do repairs because some smart(!) guy thought walking on dry ceiling structure will not crack the plaster between panels)

So here are the facts:

- Paint was a matt, coloured emulsion
- Paint repairs were done using brushes and at some places rollers
- Repairs were done from the main batch; no new products introduced
- No time to paint the whole ceiling

Looking forward to your answers, thanks in advance!

A lot of emulsion paints, more so silk finish will show different when touched up. Not always easy but best to paint to a break point like a corner or window return or a fixture of some kind.
