The Upvc guttering on my bungalow has moved, leaving a gap. I've tried to remove the clips holding the guttering in place, but unable to do so. Is there a knack or am I a weakling?

There may well be a knack, but I've always found brute force suffices :D

That means I'm a weakling then. I need to go weight training as the Yoga is obviously not working.

lyn sometimes there quite tight especially on older gutterring thats gone a bit brittle.

the way to doi it is push the guttering in while lifting the bracket

in and down with one hand while pulling the clip up and out, if you still are finding a problem a trick is to get a bit of washing up liquid round the clip to make it more supple. Also they will always be stiffer and more brittle and harder to take off when the weathers colder, so a nice sunny day makes it a lot easier.

but if you hold onto the guttering pushing it in and down while lifting the clip up and out then thats the way to do it and will work.
