Repairing Bath - How?

Hello forum,

I've managed (long and embarrassing story) to damage my bath. See photo.

It's not essential, but I'd quite like to repair it because it obviously looks quite untidy. In the long run I plan to replace the whole bathroom suite, but that could be a few years away.

Can anyone suggest how I could go about doing it? I think the bath is made out of some kind of plastic/fibreglass type stuff. I do know you can get fibreglass repair kits but these seem to be for repairing cracks & small holes. This damage is quite extensive and I don't know if such a repair kit would be suitable.

Grateful for any advice!
Thanks,
Alan

Bit of 90 degree uPVC trim siliconed to it will tidy it up, bit of a bodge..

Thanks. I'll look into it. A bodge job would be ok - doesn't need to be a perfect repair, just good enough for my Mum not to tut if she ever sees it!

should look ok.. ish. not ideal but replacement is the only alternative.

Fixed on...bit of 50mm x 50mm uPVC corner trim, cut to size. Now maybe some silicone around the edges. Not bad! Not perfect but I'm ok with it (pending full replacement of bathroom suite when £££ allows). Thanks for the tip.
