Replace missing radiator - help please

Hi, I need to replace a missing radiator, the valve openings are 740mm apart.

I was thinking of buying a 700mm rad and a variable length valve for one side, links below:

Can anyone advise if this will work or have any better ideas?

yes it will work you can buy adjustable rad valve tails or tail extensions
the link that you have put should do the job

Yes it will work, but you may need extensions both ends. If you intend to keep your existing valves then check they are both 1/2" connections to your extensions

The length of a radiator is usually equal to the distance beween the horizontal tappings the valve union tails screw into, not the distance between the valves. Once the tails are fitted to a 700mm rad. they will probably work out at about 740 - 750mm apart without any adjustment.
