I need to remove the corner board of a 22mm t&g chipboard floor where I've already glued the tongue and groove. It's a floating floor so it's on top of some PIR.
I need to level the surface underneath the PIR as there's some bounce I'm not happy about.
Is this even possible to do? I can multitool or circular saw the board out as the one I need to remove is in the corner, but obviously I'll lose the t&g.
How do I attach this back to the main floor? Can I just D4 glue the newly cut sides and butt join? I'm hoping this would work as it should all be supported by the PIR below and the glue is really just there to hold the board in place.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
