replace stop cock with lever type valve

Hi

I wanted to replace both stop cocks on CWS ( loft water storage tank) and F&E (header tank) with lever type
valve! are there any water authority restriction thanking in advance.

Lever ballvalve is fine for water pipe, better than stopcock as it is wide bore.
