Two of the middle springs have snapped (must lose weight!).
I'm finding this recliner a little too firm and wondered if a softer spring could be used while I'm doing the job. The chair was re-covered some time ago and I think the upholsterer fitted the cover a little too tightly at the time.
Any tips on replacing the zig-zags or replacing with softer springs most welcome.
