Hi
The back board in my property is rotten and I arranged with Electricity North West to get it replaced.
When their subbie turned up they refused to do the work as my fusebox was also on the back board (had been for the last 25 years)
They have said that under the new regs I have to site it on a new seperate board and they will link to it with new tails.
My questions are:
1. are they correct that it needs to be re-sited
2. does the length of the tails matter, can they be up to 1 metre for example
3. does the fusebox back board need to be made out of any specialist material.
Thanks Nigel
