Hi Folks,
I have a Baxi Duo Tec combi with a rigid filling loop. I have had to remove the non-return valve from the filling loop as it had failed (a common fault apparently). I'd like to replace the loop but the correct part is around £50 and a universal fitting is a tenner. Is there any reason (other than looks) for using the original part? Would something like this one from Screwfix just do the same job?

Cheers,

Mark

The Screwfix one won't work as the threads are wrong, but there are plenty of ones like the original one eBay for much less than £50

you can cut the screwix one into the existing pipework near the boiler, and just leave the other one turned off
