Howdy,

My bathroom light fixture has broken, somehow the screws holding the lid sheared off and the lid can't be closed.

It's an ASD Apollo Pizza 28W 2A 4pin (which appears to be discontinued) and it has a wiring system I'm unfamiliar with.

If anyone could recommend a suitable replacement I would be most grateful!

I prefer an 18" deep pan super supreme with anchovies.

Nah, got to be a Deep Pan Meat Feast!

To the Op, we really need a close up of the terminations in the choc block.

Hopefully this photo is better, thanks!

I'm going to presume the chock block only has a neutral to the fitting and the CPC that looks like it's in with the blue wires goes behind to the metalwork.

There is nothing strange about the wiring, a few permanent live conductors looped through.
Is there anything else which switches on with that light, like another light or a fan? not that it matters but it would help paint a full picture.

Thanks for the replies.

Indeed there's an extractor fan which turns on when the light is switched on.

Looks plastic to me... Hope it's not connected to the neutral
