Replacement of old waste trap failing

Hello, got myself in a right pickle...

I replaced an old (home made) waste trap which had a washing machine and dishwasher connected into it. Installed new trap with a twin discharge connector, now neither appliances will not drain out through the new system unless I manually disconnect them...then they drain out (into bucket).

I'm trying to keep calm, any suggestions would be appreciated

The new trap must be blocked somewhere. The connections normally have a blank which needs to be removed. Unscrew the connectors and check.

Remove the Dishwasher/washing machine drain fittings, there should be "blanking off" plates fitted underneath the nuts
