Hi

I lost two screws from the sewing machine at work and now i really (really!) need to replace them. The guide doesnt even seem to acknowledge these screws so i had to measure two others so i can hopefully get replacements (1 of each).

The first and most important screw physically measures
4.87mm long (including head as it is flat head) and it is 2.0mm in diameter. It is a TINY screw.

Second measures 8.18mm long and 3.47mm in diameter.

Will b&q stock these types of screws? I measured these with a micrometer.
Im a bit concerned as they seem a bit out from sizes youd normally see in shops, but as i say this is what they physically are with the micrometer.

Please help :)

Very much doubt B&Q will do them.

What make is the machine?

Can you find out and try the manufacturer??

There are lots of places which will supply spares as long as you know what the make and model of the machine is.

The site below is only one such specialist place but there are others.

I would suggest the best place is a machine spares place FIRST then, if that fails, trying to source elsewhere.

It may be you have to buy the whole part to get the spares but it's not my area of expertise.

Sorry but getting the make and model is your priority.

Thanks
It is for the retaining circlip that holds the bobbing holder in place.

The machine is a global LP 9933R

Yes i have a hard copy but they dont even mention the main screw i need!
It should be numbered around 24/25 on page 30 of the pdf file

Give them a ring.

As I said, you may have to buy a larger assembly but worth it if you are in the c**k!!

I guess so. Im hoping i can find one though. Its the screws for the bobbing retaining ring. Small buggers!
