Hi,

The (bottom entry) valve on my armitage shanks toilet cistern (M 479 reflections - about 10 years old) has failed. The tails on the replacement valves I have tried (Wickes and Screwfix) all seem to be short by about half an inch compared with the original, and Ideal seem to to have stopped making a suitable replacement.

Is it worth making further enquiries from plumbers merchants? It is going to be a pain to have to remove and refit a suitable length of copper pipe to fit in properly.

Cheers

Blup
