I have a faulty BGMVSP-23 actuator and have read that I can replace it with a Drayton MA1 without having to worry about different wiring.

Problem is there are two models shown on Screwfix, both are shown as MA1.
The 1st one is described as a Drayton Mid Position Valve Actuator & on the picture of this unit is the actuator code MA1 & priced at £57.99.

The other one is descibed as a 3 port motorised Valve, model no. MA1 679-3. at £73.99.

Can anyone please advise which one is comparable?

One is presumably the Actuator - ie just the head with the motor in it. The other is the whole valve, with the valve (wet bit) as well.
I'd buy the latter, and keep the valve if you don't need it. They are'nt super-reliable.
They can stick etc.

Hi ChrisR,
Thanks for your reply, they both look to be complete and very similar on the website photos.
