Wanting to replace it but noticing that it is firmly fitted into the groove of the frame. I don't think I can prise it out without damaging the frame, and furthermore how do I go about fitting a new one in such a tight squeeze?

1st off get it all cleaned up. Boiling water, soap & a stiff brush and clean ever bit of it and into the groove. Then get some lubrication in there, it should slide out.

you do like a challenge :!:

They usually slide out and (slide in,silicone grease helps) but yours will need some extra help to slide out,wd40 smart straw will help then give it a good tug.

Have you got new seals ?

There's no where for it to slide because the channel terminates at either end, so this must have been installed before the shower screen was fitted ?

I'm going to buy a new seal from bathstore, because we know what shower screen it is. I actually asked them to clarify what to do via e-mail, will see what comes back.

Can you find any screws or fitting at the end of the channel that would allow you to take it apart. The danger here, is that the glass may also drop out of it's channel, and not go back in easily.

Can you do a picture at either end etc.
