Hi,

I am looking for advise. I am looking to replace an EPH R27 controller with a Drayton Wiser Multi-room Kit 2. Has anyone done this? Is it just a matter of taking off the existing EPH controller from the wall plate and replacing it with the Wiser Controller?
Do i need to change wiring in the wall plate in any way?
Thanks

Hi, yes planning on the smart TRVs as well. Any wiring changes required in the back plate? Thanks

I am looking to replace an EPH R27 controller with a Drayton Wiser Multi-room Kit 2.
Sorry, but may I clarify which model EPH R27 you have?

The stock R27 supports two heating zones, whereas the R27-HW has a single heating zone and hot water control.

The Drayton Wiser multi-room kit 2 is for a single heating zone + HW - the multiroom relates to the smart radiator stats.
If you have two heating zones, you may need the kit 3, or rewire the zone valves to create a single zone and utilise more smart TRV's.

Hi, i have a EPH R27 E2132C. I have the ability to run the central heating on its own. Or have the boiler heating the hot water on its own. I have manual TRVs at the moment. Hope this helps. And its one heating zone i.e. upstairs and downstairs rads heat at the same time. Photos attached
