Within the next few weeks I will be replacing my basin taps. (They are old & I just cannot get new inners for them, believe me Ive tried).
These taps have been on the basin I would have thought from the year dot.
I am looking for any tips on removing them, so as not to damage the basin (the basin is big with no damage & we do not want to replace it).

I will remove the feed pipes first, but it looks very difficult to get a spanner/wrench on the nuts under the basin.

I was thinking before I start I would give the fixing nuts a good spary of wd40.

Any other tips.

Thanks

Aye prob putty on holes if that old.
use a craws foot basin spanner but if you canny shift em basin will have to come off to get access as a last resort . Box spanner will get em off as well.
chances are you gonny bust basin if old and decrepit taps.
O and buy the way every one will be hard at it hence lack of replies.
