I am after some advice about the best flooring material for my ground floor bathroom. The (rotten) pieces i'm hoping to remove appear to be chipboard but i have read that marine ply is best for bathroom floors?? Can anybody confirm what is better? I plan to cover it with vinyl floor tiles when its done so i was also wondering whether i would need to apply any kind of sealant or waterproofing treatment before this?
