Hi there,

I'm having issues wiring my nest 3rd gen up to my Drayton LP111 thermostat. I thought I wired it up correctly, but the heating doesn't work. The nest thinks it is heating when it isn't.

I have an oil fuelled greenstar heatslave external 25/32 combi boiler.

I have attached screenshot of the old thermostat wiring, the back panel of the old thermostat and my nest wiring. Can someone spot an error in my wiring and give any assistance?

Thanks,

Jonathan

Hi,
The brown wire in terminal one should be in terminal two of the Nest.
As for the rest of the wiring; the use of an earth wire for a switched live is not ideal, and should at least be sleeved.
The cord grips should also be gripping the external insulation if the cable, not just the inner cores.
But, apart from that, I hope it works! :)
