Replacing existing lights with LED downlights

My current setup is as follows:

Two lights in the hallway (let's call them Light 1 and Light 2).

Controlled by two-way switching from two switches (one at each end of the hallway).

I want to remove the existing lights and replace with 6 LED downlights, ( the type that get linked together one after the next)

Ive already done this in some of the upstairs rooms where there was one way switching with a single light but in this case I've got some additional wiring that makes up the 2 light and 2 way switching arrangement which i need to understand so I do thing correctly.

Existing wiring at lights:

light 1, two twin and earth cables connected plus one 3 core and earth with its neutral and switched live connected together and
also the connected to load side as shown.

Light 2 at the other end of the hallway, this light has a single twin and earth plus the 3 core and earth connected with L to L N to N and earth to earth.
The neutral, an earth also connect to the load as does the yellow (com?/SL) as shown.

Since i only need start my run of LED lights at one of the existing sets of wires (light 1 i think) Im trying to understand what wires i need to disconnect or re-arrange as some of the wiring at one of the lights should be redundant in part.

If I disconnect the 3 core and earth at light 1, this isolates light 2, BUT it also means the lights in the two adjacent rooms no longer work.

Does this mean that in addition to bridging between lights 1 and 2, does the 3 core and earth also connect the loop in and loop out wires that feed the other rooms?

What changes do i need to make in order to get my first LED wired in and then connect the subsequent led after that.

Note - I want to maintain the current two way switching arrangement.

You just connect the first new light to the same terminals as the old light was connected to and run the cable from one to the next - without altering any of the original connections.

It looks like another light elsewhere is fed off the 2nd light so you'll have to keep all the connections as they are.

Could you not move light 1 and light 2 wiring to above two of the downlights and connect the wires inside a junction box then feed the down lights from there?

Great thanks for confirming. Cheers.

Cheers yes I was thinking of doing something along those lines.
Just wanted to understand if I'd need to make any other wiring changes first.
