The door to the enclosure is forever sagging down for want of another word which means we can't close it without some force. We have to lift it up and tighten the socket head bolts on the hinges. It's never flush which means a wet floor, nor long lasting, and could so with being ripped out for a new one. However - the sides of the enclosure are attached directly into the tiles so removing it will leave some big holes....

What would be the best approach here?

Is there an ideal type of boor that lasts and doesn't need maintenance? Eg a sliding door, folding door etc.

Thanks

Just for the purpose of accuracy, is this door above a bath or a shower tray?

Obviously, a picure would help, but the first thing that springs to mind is that the wall bracket will go in the same place and thus cover any existing holes, which could be filled with silicon if you're frightened of ingress.

If this isn't of use, then a strip of upvc trim (as seem around double glazed doors an windows) might fit the bill.

If it sags, hinges are not tight enough or are missing a component, probably a packer.

Hi Guys, late reply here from me :(

Yes it is above a shower tray. We make the hinges as tight as possible but they work loose which is the issue. The seals and trim are dry and brittle. I didn't out it in so don't know the model number or make to find out about getting spares.

Hopfeully you can see these images about how the frame is held in place.
