Hi, i’m looking to replace my water supply pipe as it’s currently alkathene and has had numerous leaks in recent years.
I asked a local contractor (recommended by my water company) for a quote to lay a new pipe around the premises along to the rear of the property.
He suggested an alternative I.e. trench to the front of the property into the garage and then change to copper pipe through the garage and into the kitchen to the internal stop cock. This would be a less invasive method BUT is it an acceptable alternative? I have never heard of this method before.
I welcome your advice/comments/pros & cons
Thanks
