Replacing metal door linings?

Hello

I'm not sure if the title is correct. Basically I have 2 front doors; an exterior upv "storm door" and a glazed hardwood door just inside the porch. This hardwwod door has a metal (aluminium, steel?) frame screwed to the surrounding wooden frame and I am looking to replace this for something newer looking. Can anyone advise what this "frame" is called and where I can get a replacement. Cheers.
