Hi all,

I am going to replace my heating timer control, it sucks it doesn't even have a boost button :( . I have upstairs and downstairs motorised control valves already, for isolating the upstairs and downstairs.

Can I get a heating controller that let me time each area seperately, so that in the morning it would close the upstair svalve, open the downstairs valve and switch on the heat, and do the opposite in evening?

Thanks

Two channel programmers are widely available, but they are usually marked as 'Central Heating' & 'Hot Water' You could always make up some sticky labels though.

Or you could install two programmable thermostats one upstairs and one down. The downside here though is that you would have to carry out programming at two different places. To get around that you could have a programmable thermostat for downstairs and a standard programmer mounted at the side of it with a remote thermostat for upstairs.

Also there are multi Zone programmers available for an example, click here
